Introduction
..............
This volume, is the last in this collection, that have been created,
from poems written during a period, when I was writing at least one
poem every day. I did this for over 1000 days.
At the suggestion of others, I took a day off early in September
2008, as the challenge of writing a poem every day had almost become
an obsession. The day in question did not pass easily, and the sense
of disconnection was almost overwhelming. So, before you, is the
last group of poems from that period of continuously writing each
day.
Early in this volume, there are three consecutive poems that are all
connected. They discuss subjects that may be overlooked in our
day-to-day lives.
That is enough from me. It is hoped that you will find what follows
of value, of interest, and worth pausing and pondering.
I now invite you to read Volume Eleven of “The Definitive
Collection.”
