Introduction

..............

This volume was created from poems written during a period, when I was writing at least one poem every day. I did this for over 1000 days.

A quick look at the contents of this volume reveals a possible deeper reflection period of my daily poem ritual, and a few surprises along the way. Many of the poems found here, end with a challenge, a question, or an idea for you to consider. That is probably the case, with every poem that I have written.

It is believed that there is something here for everyone. If not now, then may be another day, another month, another year, even another life. Which poems are for you? Now that is a question, that only you can answer, and there is only one way to find out.

That is enough from me. It is hoped that you will find what follows of value, of interest, and worth pausing and pondering.

I now invite you to read Volume Nine of “The Definitive Collection.”

A Blue Moon
A perfect sandwich

Enabling your life

Facing up
Fighting the traffic
Find your passion
Friday the 13th

Given a chance
He continues
I choose life
In front of a mirror

In one day
Larger than life
Looking outside
Loose change

Music for the soul
On a journey
Plans go asunder
Recycled teenagers

Red moon
Setting a goal
Signing a book
Some will

The ghost and the flu
The power of one day
The straw broom
Tradition

True to his character
Unspoken thoughts
Up to the challenge
Visitor’s book

Walking along
What are you doing now?
When technology works
With a lion in his hands

Without a name
