As I look
to the east,
a full moon
rises in the sky.

This is
no ordinary
full moon.

For
it is,
a Blue Moon.

A Blue Moon,
is the second
full moon,
in the same month.

This is
a rare Blue Moon,
as they seldom occur
in the shorter months.

Looking through
the window,
its brightness
is hypnotic.
